After a frantic bout of apartment viewing this morning we now have a place lined up (assuming there's no issues with any of the information that I've put on the application form)
Refering back to the previous post, we won't be living by the sea but rather in Darlinghurst. According to this it should be a, er, lively place to live. Can't say that I noticed much out of the ordinary, but it was 11am on a Friday morning.
We saw a few places this morning - one that was ok but too small, another in the same complex was about the right size, but the block is in a dodgy-ish part of town, the third was lovely and finised to a very high standard, but somewhat lacking in wardrobes, the fourth we took on sight, and the fifth we never got to.
Ideally we'd have had a 2 bedroom one, but they've obviously had someone with a brain doing the layout (except perhaps for the kitchen where the fridge is about as far from the stove as you can get). There's lots of storage, and critically, enough hanging space (for the Bats, you know). And WHAT A VIEW.

Yes, that's a rooftop pool, and yes it's ours (ok, so it's shared use but still). Still got to buy a sodding fridge and washer though, but we'd have had to do that almost anywhere.
Oh, and in case anyone's still reading, it's the place (or at least one with an identical layout) from the previous post...
