With her nose obviously put right of joint, nature responded to yesterday evenings firework display with one of her own. Lots of lighting, little thunder, and less rain made for a spectacular night sky - at least by London standards.

I knelt on the balcony for 15 or 20 minutes taking photos but given that grounding electricity moves faster than my finger on the shutter, the results were mixed. I did get one picture that I think will be useful of a single grouded strike but this morning was a bit rushed so you'll just have to wait.



This isn't mine. For whatever reason, blogger is still throwing a fit at my pictures. They're not as good as this, but there's no reason to reject them outright :-(
