Gone Poseiden

Friday, November 25, 2005

Still no sign of the Maersk Dartmouth, so we're still getting by on the bits and pieces we jammed into our suitcases.

The best I've been able to do so far is determine that she arrived in Hong Kong on the 11th November by searching for its Signal Letters (A8HD5), and retrieving a cached movement report from Google. The HK port authority actually have a pretty good setup, with movements available via XML should you so wish to use them. I have not so far been able to find out when she left again, or what the next destination was, but I'll keep at it.

On the plus side, my irrational fears that it had gone Poseiden on me seem to be largely unfounded :-)
