It all came, every last one of the sixty boxes, on-time and each of them undamaged. Even the things which I had my doubts about all made it here unscathed, glassware (candle sticks, ,decanters etc) pictures (I think), electronics and particularly the TV which I really thought was going to pop and fizzle when turned on.
Of course, there's nothing actually worth watching on Aussie terrestrial TV, and even if there was we don't have the appropriate cable to hook it up to the ariel points on the apartment, but that's a minor technical issue that can be easily overcome. I must say though, in this small place, it does look quite big.
We've already given the CD collection an airing, and the washer is going to be going 247 for the next while I think. I actually think though that we'll fit everything in - some bits will live in the doghouse-cage in the basement (snowboards and about 250 woolen garments), but even so I think that everything will have its place.
Probably won't know for sure until next weekend though, as I think unpacking is going to take quite some time to complete.
