Dorian Grey

So Christmas day has come and gone for another year with us ensconced at Karen and Pete's place in Wellington (where we'd intended be even before we moved to Sydney).

The giving of gifts has been completed and everyone seems pleased, but none more so than I, and my cat-got-the-cream smile can't be entirely attributed to the box of beer than Gillian got me.

The house alcohol supply took a bit of bashing over one sunny day so Pete and I busied off to the New World to re-stock. Bubbles, Pinot and Resiling later we're at the checkout where some slip of a boy apologies in advance for asking to see my ID.

I had my driving license with me so proof was no problem, but a month away from 34th birthday, and I'm still being ID'd. Can't be bad, can it?
