What a difference 24 hours makes.
On Saturday we got the bus to Marourbra. On Sunday police closed Marine Parade after "50 car loads of youths" smashed more than 100 cars.
There's been a little bit of tension in and around Cronulla. I don't know if it's a long running thing or not, but it reached a point last weekend where 3 life savers were bashed (as the term is here) on the beach by a "middle-eastern gang". More police were brought in, and everyone hoped that things would simmer down.
Well, apparently they were wrong.
