Today is the hottest I've ever been. Perhaps I should clarify by saying warmest rather than hottest (though in truth, I was looking pretty sharp).
Walking out of the building was like walking into a fan oven. The strong, hot (rather than warm) breeze making it up under my glasses and giving me the unexpected bonus of the "I've just opened the oven door and am lucky to still have eyebrows" look.
I had intended unusually to exercise a full lunch break and take pictures in the cemetary near work (some kind of heritage site according to the plaque at the entrance), but there was no way I was going out in office trousers and a shirt. The aircon here in the apartment is struggling to manage tonight, so I may have to sleep in the pool this evening.
Shouldn't complain really, but pffff. The aussies and safas amongst you will know what I'm talking about, and I guess most of you have the reverse problem currently.
There will be a picture of a tree with some late afternoon sun on it here before long.
