Gillian has been going through the list of movies we've seen recently and grading them on IMDB. As well as their free service that people are most acquanted with, they have a pay service that's orientated towards professionals which provides additional comment, data and agent information.

One of the cross-over features is a statistical breakdown of the ratings that their subscribers allocate to each movie.

In the case of Hellboy, it appears that 40 year old women like the movie just as must as 18 year old guys. I'm not quite sure what to make of that (though I have some suspicions, none of which are suitable for open publication)
