Today is the last day that I try to make it.Last November I saw a cupcake shop in Pitt Street, but it was closed. Simon likes cakes and I thought he would love one of their beautiful cupcakes. Every once in a while I try to get there when it might be open, but it never is. Today was my last attempt. I got a lift with Nick from work to Balmain and ran from there and there were staff in the shop, cakes in the window, and the familiar 'CLOSED' sign.
Turns out that Simon does not particularly like cupcakes anyway.
