So the apartment we went to look at has gone to the other people - I guess they had a longer rental history or some such.
Back to the drawing board I suppose. In reality it's not that bigger deal - it's just that this place wasn't available until mid March so it would have been nice to have it all arranged. Most property here falls into the "available now" category - it's almost as if no-one has any sense of forward planning.
Feels a bit seat-of-the-pants for my liking. Oh well.
