I had a very brief visit to the nation's capital this week, arriving at 19:00 on Thursday night and departing again at about 07:15 on Friday morning.
The visit was just long enough to dedcide that I really want to go there again soon, and included a lovely meal at the Ottoman Cuisine. We indulged in the degustation with their choice of wines by the glass, surprisingly good value.
The picture was taken from the balcony of my hotel room looking out over Lake Burley Griffin towards the strange, but very impressive Australian Parliament buildings.
