Unfortunatey walking onto the field was just about the high point for the blues in this game. The Waratahs were favourites to win but 43-9 was a dissapointing performance, unless you were a Waratahs supporter, and it poured with rain and we had cheap seats in the uncovered area.

This was the first time I have seen a Super 14 game live as this franchise hadn't even been started when I left New Zealand and it was Simon's first live Rugby Union game, if you exclude the sevens last week.
