Clearly there is no doubting my maths skills.
As I said yesterday, winter has finally made itself known but until recently I've been trotting out the line "you know, sometimes it gets as cold as 20 degrees" in the tone of one greatly affronted.
Well, I got to eat my words today. A brisk and chilly wind coupled with a maximum temperature in Sydney of 15 degrees has put me well and truely in my place.
Broome by contrast still clocked up 32c. It is, as you might imagine, a long way from here (some 2300km/1400m North of Perth which itself is hardly what you'd call "around the corner").
