Breakfast economics

Friday, May 05, 2006

A month or so ago, a cyclone ravaged parts of Queensland and did large amounts of damage to the Bananna crop. Market forces being what they are dictates that the bananna that I bought today to chop into my cereal at work cost $12 per kilo.

On checking I found that Woolworths the supermarket sell Organic T-Bone steak for $12.99 per kilo. I think I might start having steak for breakfast instead :-)
