First Quarter results at work today. The piece of the business that I work in increased year on year profits by 34%. That means profits of about 770 million pounds for 3 months work. Not too shabby.
As a whole the company made 1.5 billion quid (or 3.504 billion swiss francs) this quarter.
We're all sitting in the office rubbing our hands and the thought of bonus time next year. Some proverb about chickens springs to mind, but it is nice to work for a profitable organization.
