Doing housework is not without its problems | Monday, May 22, 2006 |
Being the modern man that I am, I try to do my bit around the house. Yesterday Gillian did a jeans wash. Today I reciprocated by doing a load of dish towels, scrubby clothes and the like.
So imagine my suprise when I go to put said dish things in tumble-whatsit and discover that my work supplied mobile phone is languishing at the bottom of the drum presumably from being left in my jeans pocket (which as I've pointed out at some volume to Gillian were not in the washing basket).
Two washes, one at 90 degrees. Anyone want to guess how well it's working now? I blame Nokia and their cut-price manufacturing techniques.
