My friends Dan and Emma have finally had enough of the UK rat race and thrown in the towel. In a pretty large move they've upped sticks and moved to Bangkok. Dan can work from there for his current employers and Emma can spend the day watching Elephants walk down the street.
They've only been there one day, whereas me, with nearly 10 months in Australia have yet to see a Kangaroo. I did see a Wombat, but it was stuffed in the foyer of a museum. I'm not sure that that really counts.
I feel us abusing their hospitality sometime next year :-)
