Venus in furs

We've been city bound since we got here. The Blue Mountains are close by but somehow there's always been other stuff to do. We'll have to resolve that sooner or later.

It's about 05:40 at the moment so dark outside and it looks to have been a clear night.

Earth is by many standpoints in a bit of a galactic backwater, and the northern hemisphere is pointing outwards the boonies even more so. Sydney like most other major cities generates a huge amount of light pollution making it difficult to see much of the evening sky (though in this respect we're a little better off as it's not so bad out over the ocean). Much of the densely packed night sky is rendered invisible as a result.

At this time of morning though, Venus can on clear days be easily seen, and she's there, shimering away once more this morning.
