Untitled-in-sydney

So Australia won their first match of the world cup and narrowly avoiding the shame of a 1-0 defeat by Japan. Naturally enough the press is full of it here. Yawn.

The best part of it so far was yesterday, when Gillian and I were returning from our long walk around part of the headland and came across a chap walking a small dog which had been stuffed inside a child sized Socceroos tshirt in a peculiarly patriotic take on the dog blanket.
