Gillian is doing most of the driving at the moment. She's still nervous about the whole thing, but doing really well.
This morning we went the normal way to work and there was a chap on the corner with a clipboard laying out traffic cones. This is outside of a bottle store so I figured a delivery was shortly arriving.
The lights changed, we turned the corner and there are two police cars, and a polished blue Subaru Imprezza parked at an improbable angle on the pavement outside the bottle store. I've no idea what it was doing there. If it was a ram raid, then I think the drivers had not read the manual correctly. It had nudged slightly the bus stop pole, but other than that looked unscathed - as did the bottle store.
Something of a mystery for the trip to work this morning.
