I've started going to the gym again. It's quite fun in a bone aching, tiring sort of way.

On the 200m journey between the office and the post-office, a new gym has opened. And given that my efforts at doing some kind, any kind of martial art have been knobbled by my reticence at giving up my evenings at the moment, and that I cannot possibly get to the post office without going past it, it seemed like it was time to join.

So, there's much enthusiasm at the moment, and given that I start work early, it's nice to pop off between 1000 and 1030 to go sweat some. I'm actually taking accurate notes this time, and one area where I suspect that I'll see some quick change is running.

Even over the space of 2 weeks my mile time has dropped from about 10 minutes to just under nine. Lets hope the initial burst of energy continues.
