Lucky Eight? | Thursday, November 16, 2006 |
They can’t stop talking about it on the radio, today is the coldest November day in Sydney for over 100 years. We had a low of eight degrees overnight and today’s high is only 15, and we are having lots of wind and rain just to jolly things along.
Yesterday there was snow in three Australian states and there could be some more in New South Wales today. In the Blue Mountains they have the strange combination of snow on the high ground and bush fires from Monday’s lightning strikes.
This morning when I was running on the beach there was nobody else on the sand, first time ever, I guess the storminess has scared them all off.
