Christmas is coming. After three now (all in NZ) I'm getting more used to the idea of a warm one but it still seems odd to have scenes of snow and sleighs when the temperature can easily be in the 30's. This year will be our first in Oz and while there is no immeditate plot for the famous "prawns on the barby", the beach is in the mix if the weather gods are nice to us.
We've missed the surface posting dates for the UK, but I do actually have presents sorted out for the folks which is a step forward from normal.
Obviously others still need purchasing and I snookered myself by giving Gillian some earrings that I'd originally ear-marked(!) for christmas already (I'm nice like that), so it's back to the drawing board.
