Ah, the grey skies of London.
20 hours of flight to swap sunny February Sydney for grey old London. Flights ok, but I doubt they could have stuffed any more passengers on the flight. Homourously, someone had stuck up a cutting from the newspaper relating to Qantas staff mile high antics above one of the exits and the crew left it there until the plane landed in London.
I've no idea if they'd not noticed it previously, or if that was the plane concerned, but I thought it was pretty funny.
Bangkok's airport is a pretty flash affair, though we landed for the brief refuelling stop late at night so there wasn't much to be seen of the city.
So far I've managed to catch up with a couple of people for drinkies and food with a couple of people, mangaged to loose a new phone charger between the purchase point and the hotel, and said goodbye to my nice merino wooly hat that declined to leave the tube with me. Bit annoyed about that :-(
