Pointless publicity piece of fluff. And one that my company bought into fully.
Needless to say we're sitting in the dark lit only by the couple of tea lights on the table and the 1,000,000 candle power emitted by the TV.
Surveying my empire, a couple of places have joined in, but they've been offset by the person who's parked and seems to have left their indicators on.
We briefly thought of heading into town on the ferry to see the big switch off, but in the end, really couldn't be bothered. I daresay there will be a few pictures of the cityscape in a darkened state, but I've enough imagination to, er, imagine that.
Don't get me wrong, it's a laudible goal, it's just that, one office doing something concrete for the whole year would have more of an impact. One hit wonders, almost.
