This morning I cycled up to the doctors along the cycle path to Balgowlah. Just past the pool the path is next to a fence and some flowering bushes.
I managed to literally ‘scare the crap out of’ a rainbow lorikeet which had been feeding on the flowers and then had to pedal the rest of the way with a small dab of parrot shit stuck to my left knee.
The bird flew away screeching.
