After the last couple of weeks of stormy weather, rain, wind and floods it seems we are now about to have another few days of cyclonic winds which according to official sources will “pack a mean punch”. They go on to say “Anyone contemplating going near the water, be advised not to. We are expecting waves in the six- to seven-metre mark.”
Maybe we won’t park the car in the underground garage tonight as I think the road is only a few metres above sea level now.
The attached picture is the beach out front of our building as the sand was all blowing away a couple of weeks ago.
