Those who know me well would not find it hard to imagine my delight at the news that after a four year break, the Manly Council’s Dogs Day Out is back and was held on Sunday 26 August at the Manly Lagoon Reserve which is the closest park to our apartment.
I did not attend and cannot tell you who the lucky winners were of the Dogue Day Spa Vouchers and other prizes as I was a comfortable distance away on the other side of the harbour, having fun.
This reserve is always popular with dog owners and when I walk through this reserve to get the bus to work the dogs are mostly well behaved, but I still dislike them, especially when they come up and try to sniff my bag, interested in the lunchtime chops or casserole.
