Munching on a plate of cheese on toast earlier wondering how lardy a portion of cheddar really is I read in the Guardian TV guide about Elvis, or rather one of the strange statistics regarding his life.
The difficulty with small reviews is that there's not much context, so when it says "Some of the King's most impressive statistics however were reserved for his personal life: On an average day, Elvis would consume 94,000 calories - nearly twice the recommended amount for an adult Asian elephant"
I don't doubt that (well, actually I do) but I can't help wondering over what period this average was arrived at.
