These barriers were being put in place along Phillip Street this afternoon in front of the Intercontinental hotel.
It is the APEC summit meeting in Sydney next week and I believe that George Bush and entourage are staying at this hotel.
The barriers are not the right height to stop pedestrians so I guess they must be to stop cars or trucks driving into the hotel?
