There's been something of a "Road Movie" theme recently. Following on from Trans America and Courtesy of QuickFlix, the Mexican movie "Y tu mamá también" arrived in the post box. Sadly, this has the honour of being the first disc from QuickFlix that didn't actually play all the way through.As such we got somewhere between halfway and two thirds of the way into a story of which the summary reads
In Mexico, two teenage boys and an attractive older woman embark on a road trip and learn a thing or two about life, friendship, sex, and each other.
The MPAA said;
Rated R for strong sexual content involving teens, drug use and language.
Presumably, the lack of gun-toting violence upset them, though it's hard to disagree with any of the statements. Probably not one for you mum, but not outrightly gratuitous. So, it's gone back, and eventually they'll re-send it, as it was shaping up to be a pretty decent movie.
